Salt Lake City Illustrated Tee
I created the Salt Lake City SPG logo in response to a version our Bangkok team had made, adapting their concept to my own city: "Salt Lake City" and "SPG" formed from Utah references I illustrated by hand: Delicate Arch, the state beehive, the '02 Olympic rings, Monument Valley, a bison, the Capitol, and the California gull.
Working in a single-color line style tuned to stay screenprint-ready, I drew and composed each element into the letterforms. We printed the final design on shirts for the team to wear at the company's annual party. Up close it's a dense field of local references; from across a room, clean lettering.

After a brief colorway exploration, we chose to print the graphic in deep navy on white.

SPG's Bangkok office created a Thailand-themed illustration for their office; the city name and logo built entirely from hand-drawn local icons.
