Money Talks Game Design
I was commissioned to help with the design of a murder mystery game called "Money Talks: Murder at Marina Bay". First we worked together to find the best color scheme for the game design and then I worked with the client to figure out what fonts and elements he wanted included. As the murder mystery party was set at a casino, I integrated the card suites into the back ground and also into the character description templates. For the final stage of designing the game, I designed 15 unique character items to be printed onto game tokens.
RUFA Posters and Racing Bibs
As the webmaster and graphic designer for the non profit Running Up For Air. Not only do I managed updates, edits, corrections to the RUFA site and sub-domains. I also designed the running bibs and race posters for the 2023 and 2024 series.
ProTech Tent
Pro Tech has been training young athletes to develop and improve technique for success in their football careers. With NFL coaching backgrounds, these professionals are known for pushing developing athletes to the next level with sharpened technique. Pro Tech needed a branded outdoor tent with a dynamic design that would appeal to its youthful customers and help sell their program and sports apparel. The tent required two alternating designs for the top canopy, a backdrop, and matching promotional feather flags. After showing them several design mockups they settled on Tent D confirming with an enthusiastic "It looks fire!".
Prohibition Business Cards
Prohibition is a well known 1920's themed speakeasy popular for it's quality offerings: vibey cocktails, well plated dishes, and tasting events. This a locally run business is also known for it's captivating performances; burlesque shows and jazz nights take place on the regular. Prohibition needed an elegant art deco business card for its managers to increase the effectiveness of their personal networking. This project involved recreating the Prohibition logo as vector and then testing many different printing agencies to find the correct black matte finish with gold leaf.
Jungle repeating Pattern
Inspired by my trip to Costa Rica, I decided to illustrate some of my favorite animals I saw there. A toucan, a sloth, a capuchin, and some butterflies. I felt that these light, playful designs would be super adorable on a onesie or in a nursery. After displaying my patterns on mockups, I was asked to print them as baby gifts. I created two, one for a baby boy and another for a baby girl.
Pickleball Team Shirts
As the team captain of the Dinking Buddies, I really wanted to create a shirt for my 3.0 team to wear when we play in our league. In the first step of my design process, I created a comp sheet with 6 different shirt designs and created a Google Form to survey which shirt design was the most popular.
After Design A was chosen, I mocked up the design we chose on different colors and by team vote, we ultimately chose this charcoal gray.
Himalayan Wonders Business Cards
Himalayan Wonders has offering Himalayan treks through Nepal and Bhutan for more than a decade. They’re a adventure-minded business known for offering custom trekking itineraries with experienced local guides. Himalayan Wonders needed a new business card with a modern design that would appeal to its intrepid customers. The old logo was used with a new gradient and had updated proportions to emphasize the company name.
